This course is designed to provide an appropriate level of manual handling awareness for drivers. It introduces learners to the risks of manual handling and the controls available. This course has been approved by the DVSA and qualifies for 3.5 Driver CPC hours (this module must be completed in conjunction with another 3.5 hour Driver CPC module to obtain the minimum 7 hours required).
Any potential, new or existing bus, coach or lorry drivers requiring Driver CPC Manual Handling training.
Qualified drivers must complete 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep their Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) to drive a lorry, coach, or bus. This course will enable learners to understand safer manual handling methods which helps to maintain their physical health and quality of life.
