Ouch Learning and Development is expanding its network of freelance trainers to deliver high-quality, accredited courses across the UK. With over 25 years of experience, we offer flexible training opportunities in health and safety, well-being, and business development.
We are currently recruiting for a range of freelance instructor roles. Our priority is First Aid, but we’re also looking for professionals qualified to deliver training in Manual Handling, Mental Health First Aid, Fire Safety, Asbestos Awareness, Driver CPC, and Health and Safety.

Current Priority Role:
Freelance First Aid Instructor
As a Freelance First Aid Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive first aid training sessions to diverse audiences, ensuring they receive the necessary certification. This role requires strong teaching and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of first aid protocols. Your expertise will empower participants to respond effectively in emergencies, making a significant impact on their safety and preparedness.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging first aid training sessions
- Assess participants and provide constructive feedback
- Stay up-to-date with first aid practices and certification requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Foster a supportive learning environment
- Complete relevant administration using our bespoke online system
Requirements:
- Current First Aid at Work Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of First Aid training experience
- Teaching/Assessor Qualification (Level 3 EAT, PTTLS, CTTLS, DTTLS or equivalent)
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Valid driver’s licence
- FAIB membership (desirable)
